// cse student, headed toward appsec — pune, india

Rajvardhan Wakharade_

I build full-stack software — a payments system a dance academy runs on, a forecasting tool for EV charging demand. Now I'm putting that same hands-on habit toward Application Security.

What I've shipped

Four projects that mattered enough to see through — a client system, two independent builds, and one still in progress. Knowing how these get built is exactly what makes finding where they break useful.

Personal project ev-forecast/

EV Infrastructure Forecast Engine

Problem
India's EV charging infrastructure is growing without much visibility into where demand actually outpaces supply.
Solution
A geospatial dashboard mapping EV demand against charging station gaps across Indian cities.
Impact
Turns public CSV data into a live map anyone can read in seconds, no spreadsheet required.
Python Leaflet.js Chart.js
Personal project neet-study-partner/

NEET Study Partner

Problem
NEET aspirants take hundreds of practice tests but rarely see their own patterns of improvement.
Solution
A web app that logs every test, tracks accuracy over time, and generates fresh questions on demand.
Impact
Gives students a clean, personal view of where they're actually improving — not just a score.
JavaScript SQL Question-gen API
Personal project krishiniti/

KrishiNiti — Farm Finance Simulator

Problem
Financial literacy tools for farmers rarely reflect the real risk of a bad monsoon or a bad loan.
Solution
A mobile simulation of a 10-season farming cycle, with weather shocks, credit scoring, and government schemes built in.
Impact
Multilingual with native text-to-speech, so it works for people who don't read English comfortably.
React TypeScript Capacitor

Plus — other public repos — experiments and things I built just to learn.

Where I'm headed

Application Security first, then Cloud Security, then DevSecOps — in that order, with a clear bar to clear before moving to the next. This is the hands-on work behind that plan.

Home lab appsec-toolkit/

Testing Environment

Problem
Reading a tool's docs isn't the same as having it configured and ready when a lab needs it.
Solution
Kali Linux in VirtualBox as a dedicated testing box, running Burp Suite Community with Turbo Intruder for scripted attacks and sqlmap for SQLi validation.
Impact
A repeatable setup — every new lab starts from the same known-good environment.

How I got here

2024

Started programming

Picked up C and the web basics on my own, then made it formal through Infosys Springboard and LinkedIn Learning tracks in programming fundamentals and web development.

2025

Placed 2nd at a university hackathon

First real test under a clock, building something that had to work in front of judges, not just pass on my machine.

2025

Two internships

AI & Data Analytics with AICTE–Shell India (Edunet), then a Data Science stint at Codsoft — applying analysis and ML to problems I didn't pick myself, which turned out to be the point.

2025–26

Real projects, real users

Shipped the EV forecast engine, KrishiNiti, and the NEET study tracker — then took on the Dance Academy system as an actual client project with a person depending on it working.

Today

Third year, building toward AppSec

Coursework at Vishwakarma University, PortSwigger Academy labs, and client work running in parallel. Expected to graduate May 2028.

How I think

For a while I was building without much of a plan. Now I have one — and it's why this site looks the way it does.

Everything in Selected Work happened before the plan existed. It's still here because it's real proof I can ship systems people depend on, and that turns out to matter a lot in security — you can't secure what you don't understand how to build.

The plan itself: Application Security first, since it's the most direct use of that instinct. Cloud Security and DevSecOps after, once AppSec gives me the foundation both of those actually need.

Build
Python JavaScript C++ Node JS React Django / FastAPI SQL Git
Break
Burp Suite Turbo Intruder sqlmap Kali Linux

Let's build something useful.

Open to internships, freelance work, and anything security-adjacent that needs someone who checks whether the thing actually holds up.
